For the young dancer aged 13 to 17, dance is more than a hobby; it is a form of expression and a pursuit of excellence.
This is the refinement stage, where technique merges with artistry to create moments of pure magic on stage. Our advanced-level class is structured to challenge, inspire, and polish each student's talent, preparing them for greater heights.
What is mastered at this stage?
The focus is on mastering classical ballet technique and on the dancer's artistic maturation. The curriculum is demanding and comprehensive, including:
- Mastery of Barre and Center Technique: Execution of long and complex sequences that demand strength, control, musicality, and stamina.
- Consolidated Pointe Work (for female students): Pointe work is no longer an introduction but becomes an integral part of the class, focusing on strength, control, and the precision of movements.
- Classical Repertoire Variations: Learning and interpretation of solos and excerpts from famous ballets, allowing the student to experience the repertoire danced on the world's great stages.
- Grand Jumps and Turns (Grand Allegro): Development of the technique for large jumps and turn sequences that demand virtuosity and spatial awareness.
From the Studio to the Stage
At this level, the objective is clear: to transform potential into performance. Students are encouraged to develop their artistic identity, overcome their technical limits, and gain the confidence needed to shine on stage.

2. Is pointe work mandatory?
A: Pointe work is a fundamental component of a classical ballerina's journey at this level. Its practice is strongly recommended for a complete training, always with the proper technical supervision to ensure safety.
3. Are there opportunities to perform?
A: Yes. Stage performance is one of the central objectives of this learning phase. Students are prepared throughout the year to participate in shows and presentations, where they can apply all their hard work and dedication.
