1. Do I need to know the birth dates of all my ancestors?
A: No. Although dates are useful for finding 'anniversary syndromes,' reading the tree is also done through facts, names, professions, and, above all, the emotional memory you carry. We work with the information you have available; what is unknown also 'speaks' through silence.
2. Is this course a therapy session?
A: No. It is a theoretical-practical learning course. Although the process is inevitably therapeutic (because it brings awareness), the goal is to teach you the reading tool. It does not replace an individual therapeutic process, but it accelerates it immensely.
3. Is it the same as Family Constellations?
A: They draw from the same source (Bert Hellinger's systemic thinking), but the methodology is different. Constellations use representatives and the phenomenological 'field.' This course focuses on Psychogenealogy and the Genogram: the analytical and graphical study of history and concrete facts to find patterns.
4. What is a Genogram?
A: It is the graphic representation of your family (similar to a traditional family tree), but enriched with symbols representing emotional dynamics: conflicts, breakups, fusions, illnesses, and exclusions. It is the main working tool of this course.
5. Will I receive certification?
A: Yes. You will receive a Participation Certificate attesting to your attendance in the introductory course on Genealogical Tree Reading and systemic vision.
