1. My child has never danced before. Can they start Contemporary Dance?
A: Yes, absolutely. Classes are adapted to each child's age and level, with no prior experience required. Simply let us know their age and we will guide you to the right group.

2. What is the difference between Contemporary Dance and other styles such as ballet or Jazz?
A: Contemporary Dance stands out for its creative and expressive freedom. Unlike ballet, which follows a highly structured classical technique, contemporary dance fuses influences from ballet, modern dance and improvisation, allowing each dancer to develop their own movement language. There is no 'right' way to dance — there is your way.

3. Can parents watch the classes?
A: Classes are not open for observation by parents or guardians. This environment allows children to focus, develop independence and feel at ease as they explore movement at their own pace. Performances and showcases are organised throughout the year so that families can follow their children's progress.

4. What clothing and footwear are recommended?
A: Comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement — leggings, dance trousers or a t-shirt are perfect. Classes can be done barefoot or in socks. The school will provide all guidance at the time of enrolment.

5. Are there performances throughout the year?
A: Yes. Students take part in performances and showcases throughout the school year, where they have the opportunity to apply everything they have learned on stage. It is a moment of great pride for students and families alike.

6. Is Contemporary Dance suitable for teenagers with no experience?
A: Yes. The classes for young people aged 12 and above welcome both beginners and students with some experience. Exercises and choreographies are always adapted to the level of the group, allowing for progressive and motivating development.

7. Can an adult with no experience start Contemporary Dance?
A: Absolutely. Adult classes are open to all levels — from those who have never danced to those returning after a break. The pace is adapted to each participant and the environment is welcoming and judgement-free.

8. What are the mental wellbeing benefits of Contemporary Dance?
A: Beyond the physical benefits, Contemporary Dance promotes self-esteem, confidence and emotional expression, contributing to an overall sense of balance and wellbeing. It is also an excellent way to relieve stress and find a space of creative freedom in daily life.

9. Can Contemporary Dance help with academic performance?
A: Yes. Regular dance practice improves attention, memory and discipline — skills that directly reflect in concentration and organisation at school.

10. Is it possible to have a trial class before enrolling?
A: Yes. A trial class can be arranged, subject to availability, so that the student or child and parents can get to know the space, the teachers and the methodology before signing up.
