1. My child has never danced before. Can they start Jazz classes?
A: Yes, absolutely. Classes are adapted to each child's age and level, with no prior experience required. Simply let us know their age and we will guide you to the right group.

2. What is the difference between Jazz Dance and other styles such as ballet or contemporary?
A: Jazz Dance is a dynamic and expressive style, with Afro-American roots, distinguished by its energy, versatility and creative freedom. Unlike ballet, which follows a highly structured classical technique, Jazz combines technique with personal expression, incorporating elements of musical theatre, contemporary dance and modern rhythms.

3. Can parents watch the classes?
A: Classes are not open for observation by parents or guardians. This environment allows children to focus, develop independence and feel at ease as they learn at their own pace. Performances and showcases are organised throughout the year so that families can follow their children's progress.

4. What clothing and footwear are recommended?
A: Comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement — leggings, tights or tracksuit bottoms with a t-shirt are perfect. For footwear, jazz shoes or suitable trainers that allow freedom of movement and ensure safety are recommended. The school will provide all guidance at the time of enrolment.

5. Are there performances throughout the year?
A: Yes. Students take part in performances and showcases throughout the school year, where they have the opportunity to apply everything they have learned on stage. It is a moment of great pride for students and families alike.

6. Is Jazz Dance suitable for teenagers with no experience?
A: Yes. Jazz Teens classes were created to welcome both beginners and young people with some experience. Exercises and choreographies are always adapted to the level of the group, allowing for progressive and motivating development.

7. Can an adult with no experience start Jazz Dance?
A: Absolutely. Adult Jazz classes are open to all levels — from those who have never danced to those returning after a break. The pace is adapted to each participant and the environment is welcoming and judgement-free.

8. What are the mental wellbeing benefits of Jazz Dance?
A: Beyond the physical exercise, Jazz Dance promotes self-esteem, confidence and emotional expression, contributing to an overall sense of balance and wellbeing. It is also an excellent way to relieve stress and disconnect from the fast pace of daily life.

9. Can Jazz Dance help with academic performance?
A: Yes. Regular dance practice improves attention, memory and discipline — skills that directly reflect in concentration and organisation at school.

10. Is it possible to have a trial class before enrolling?
A: Yes. A trial class can be arranged, subject to availability, so that the student or child and parents can get to know the space, the teachers and the methodology before signing up.
