Hip-Hop is one of the most energetic, creative and liberating dance styles in existence. Born from urban culture in the United States, it has spread worldwide as a form of personal expression, movement and community. In Castelo Branco, classes are available for all ages — from age 3 to adult — in a fun, welcoming and personally rewarding environment.

The first class is a trial — no commitment. Come and feel the rhythm.

Who are the classes for?
For children, young people and adults who want to learn Hip-Hop in a fun and motivating environment. Classes are adapted to each age group and level — from complete beginners to dancers with some experience. No prior experience is required.

Art'Kompany is a dance and wellbeing school in Castelo Branco that was born from a passion for movement and the pleasure of teaching. 1. From what age can students enrol in Hip-Hop classes?
A: Classes start from age 3 — Hip-Hop Baby group. We have specific groups for each age range: Baby (3-6 years), Kids (7-10 years), Teens (from age 12) and Adults (from age 15).

2. Is prior experience required?
A: No. Classes are suitable for all levels — from complete beginners to dancers with some experience. Teaching is progressive and adapted to each student's pace.

3. Where do the classes take place?
A: Classes take place at Art'Kompany, at Rua Cardeal da Mota, nº 10, in Castelo Branco — a modern, safe and welcoming space to learn and improve.

4. What are the benefits of Hip-Hop classes for children?
A: Hip-Hop classes help children develop coordination, rhythm, endurance and flexibility. They also promote teamwork, personal expression and self-esteem — in a fun and motivating environment.

5. What should I wear to the classes?
A: Comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement — tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt are ideal. For footwear, sports trainers with good grip are recommended.

6. Can I try a class before enrolling?
A: Yes. The first class is a trial with no commitment whatsoever — the ideal opportunity to get to know the space, the teachers and feel the rhythm before deciding to sign up.

7. Are there performances or shows throughout the year?
A: Yes. Art'Kompany has a long tradition of performances and shows throughout the year — giving students the opportunity to show what they have learned on stage.

8. How do I enrol?
