Basketball is one of the most popular sports in Portugal, also included in the context of school sports and practiced in schools.

Training Basketball not only allows you learning the rules of the game and developing the player at the physical and mental level, but also for acquiring a regular habit with regard to sports practice and the social component.

In Grupo Desportivo Bolacesto it is possible to start from the first level and reach the professional level in the sport, entering in national competitions. The club offers both male and female sports practice.

About Bolacesto Sports Group

Grupo Desportivo Bolacesto is a basketball club based in Vila Nova de Gaia, founded in June 1980 by Prof. Ângelo Cristiano Araújo.
