1. Do I need any dance experience to start?
A: Not at all! The beginner classes are designed for anyone who has never had contact with dance or Breaking. You'll start from scratch, learning the fundamentals in a progressive and fun way.
2. Is Breaking safe? Is it a suitable activity for children?
A: Yes, it's completely safe when taught by qualified instructors. Safety is the priority. The learning process is gradual: nobody starts doing acrobatic moves on the first day. The focus is first on the fundamentals (Toprock, Footwork) and physical conditioning. For children, the approach is even more playful, focusing on coordination and rhythm.
3. What should I wear and bring to class?
A: Comfort is essential. Loose, comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict movement is recommended (like sweatpants and a t-shirt). On your feet, wear sturdy sneakers with a flat sole. Don't forget to bring a water bottle!
4. What are the main benefits of practicing Breaking?
A: The benefits are immense! Physically, you'll develop your strength (especially in your core and arms), coordination, agility, and endurance. Mentally and socially, you'll stimulate creativity, boost your self-confidence, foster discipline, and become part of a united community.
5. How long is each class and what is the recommended frequency?
A: Classes are generally 90 minutes long.
6. Are there performances or dance battles?
A: The main focus is on learning and having fun in class. However, Breaking has a strong culture of sharing. Participation in 'cyphers' (friendly dance circles) is encouraged during classes so students can practice and build confidence. Occasionally, showcases or events may be organized to share the work that has been developed.
7. Is it possible to do a trial class? How do I sign up?
A: Yes, it's possible to do a trial class, depending on availability. To sign up or get more information, register through the platform or contact us via WhatsApp/phone call.
